Work with established artist who will help you learn new technical and promotional skills to achieve your career goals as a professional artist.
Flexible hours and special projects to fit your particular interest, needs and experience are available.
BENEFITS:
- Receive valuable first-hand experience in portfolio development, presentation of artwork, exhibit installation, marketing and promotion, sales, negotiating contracts, and planning receptions and events.
- Work with emerging and established artists and collectors.
- Develop important contacts including media personel.
- Learn new computer skills including internet and database management.
- Gain the confidence necessary to promote your artwork to local galleries & art consultants.
- Aquire valuable work experience (if you are interested in arts administration) for your resume and receive letters of recommendation.
- Participate in ARTwork's exhibits and other programs and pay no membership fee or monthly dues.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Some computer skills, Mac preferred. Office or sales experience helpful but not necessary.
- Commitment to work at least 4 hours per week for 6 months may lead to paid part time employment.
